The support of local companies is a priority task of the department. The team regularly visits companies and is available to all entrepreneurs in confidential one-on-one meetings.

The first points of contact for companies and investors are Mayor Andreas Bär and Tanja Klähn, Department of Economic Development and City Marketing.

Also, the building authority will be happy to help you with questions about planning and building law.

The Department of Economic Development functions as the central point of contact for those who are interested in starting a business. Becoming self-employed not only requires a wealth of ideas and courage, but also confronts the founder with numerous questions:

How do I turn my idea into a business model? How do I write a business plan? How can I finance my project and how can I find suitable business premises? These are all issues that arise when setting up a business and often result in future entrepreneurs being dependent on the help of experts.

The first point of contact for all questions in terms of starting a business in Nidderau, is the municipal Department of Economic Development. It is a member of the Main-Kinzig Business Start-up Forum (FEMK), answers questions, arranges contacts with the responsible colleagues within the urban administration or with external experts and supports the search for suitable real estate.

Consultation hours of the business mentors "Die Wirtschaftspaten" in Nidderau

The association „Die Wirtschaftspaten“ offers a consultation hour in Nidderau once in a month. The focus of advice is on topics related to starting a business, securing a company and company succession. The association provides support e.g. with the creation of a business plan, with organizational issues or with the planning and implementation of company transfers. The first contact during the consultation hours is free of charge. Further advice is offered at a low price. 

The consultation hours in Nidderau take place at the family center. They are carried out by the association member and former banker Günter Stoll. To take part in the consultation, you must register at the Department of Economic Development.
