With its convenient location in the heart of the Rhine-Main area, about 20 kilometers northeast of Frankfurt and ten kilometers north of Hanau, Nidderau is a promising business location and the headquarters of many medium-sized companies. A richness of ideas and innovative strength characterize the entrepreneurial thinking and action in the city. Some of the local companies are even among the best in their branch.

In 2019, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) also awarded Nidderau the title of “excellent place to live for skilled workers”. In the associated audit the sunniest city in Hesse was able to convince, especially with regard to the quality of life. As one of the fastest growing municipalities in southern Hesse, Nidderau can look back on dynamic development. An example of this is the newly created city center, which offers a wide range of shopping facilities and restaurants.
